If a core deposit has been charged, that deposit will be credited back to the customer when the core is returned, provided that the core:
Is fully assembled with no broken or missing parts (except as noted under “Core inspection”);
Is returned within 30 days of the date of the original sales order;
Is returned in the original carton (engine components) or the original shipping skid (engines); and
Has appropriate core documentation (referencing the new engine’s serial number) filled out and attached to the core engine.
All engine core credits will be made for the core deposit value originally paid. All component core credits will be made at our current published core deposit value in effect at the time of the return. Damaged cores may be eligible for partial credit.
All cores are inspected and a check will be issued to the customer within five (5) business days from Wholesale Powertrain’s receipt of core in its Dallas warehouse. Core credit will be delayed if Core Return tag is not returned with the core or inaccurate/incomplete.
